Communications Manager

The FHW Network is building a community of practice for those working with Frontline Health Workers (FHWs). We are currently seeking someone able to lead our efforts to communicate our vision and services to FHW implementing organizations, donors, potential hires, partner organizations, and targets of policy and advocacy efforts.

Start: Immediately

Compensation: Volunteer position, but will offer: 
  • Excellent social venture start-up experience 
  • A really meaningful and valuable experience to help improve healthcare delivery and make an impact toward global health equity

Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Location: Remotely
Minimum Commitment: 12 months

Reports to: Executive Director
Manages: Potentially 1-3 communications volunteers 

Position Goals: 
  • Develop and implement social media strategy
  • Develop website content
  • Develop marketing, promotional, recruitment, and advocacy materials

Ideal Candidate:
  • Desire to make an impact in global health equity and/or to improve healthcare delivery
  • Curious, fast learner who will be able to master what we’re doing
  • Organized and eloquent writer
  • Skilled with social media for community engagement
